Privacy Policy
Boardroom uses the minimum information required to build and save a medical board-preparation plan. Boardroom does not sell personal information or provider-account data.
Boardroom Account and Study Data
Boardroom stores the information you enter, including your name, email address, medical school, training stage, exam dates, school schedule, selected resources, checklist progress, assessment history, and saved Boardroom test attempts. Passwords are stored only as secure password hashes.
For an account explicitly entitled to the private Neurosurgery workspace, Boardroom also stores the residency-planning records that account enters: milestones, research projects and outputs, professional contacts and interactions, program research, applications, interviews, rotations, exam outcomes, institutional questions, and reminder preferences. This workspace is not enabled for ordinary Boardroom accounts.
This information is used to authenticate your account, compile and update your plan, save your progress, send account-verification messages, and show your study results.
Service Providers
Boardroom uses Vercel to host the website, Supabase to store production account and study data, and Resend to deliver account-verification and enabled Neurosurgery reminder email. These services process only the information needed to provide their function. Your separate content-provider accounts remain governed by those providers' own privacy policies.
The Neurosurgery calendar export is generated only for the signed-in entitled account and is not published as a public calendar URL.
Local Browser Data
Boardroom may store an unsigned plan draft, onboarding-tour completion, and your time zone in your browser. The time zone keeps calendar dates aligned with your local day. You can clear this data through your browser settings.
Control and Deletion
Account Settings lets you change your profile, email address, and password. Study Data controls let you delete individual progress records or reset study history. Deleting your account removes the account and its stored study data.
Security and Changes
Boardroom uses encrypted connections and limits access to account data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
